Retreat Investment
Due to a generous donation, we are able to keep the retreat at the 2022 price of $630 per person single occupancy and $525 double occupancy. A $100 deposit will hold your spot. The remainder of the fee with be due June 1, 2024
The fee includes a room with private bath, meals and all retreat supplies. Meals include dinner on Wednesday, breakfast/lunch/dinner from Thursday to Saturday, and breakfast/lunch on Sunday. Bedding and towels are provided. We will reach out prior to the conference for dietary requests. The facility can provide vegan, vegetarian or gluten-free options with notice.
If you are unable to pay the full amount due to financial hardship, please apply for financial aid using our application form. Financial aid may be available on a limited basis, for up to 50% of the retreat investment.*
*Several registrants are not able to pay the full fee. When you register, we ask those with financial means to do so to consider making a tax-deductible donation to this retreat’s financial aid fund. Covid Precautions
As we approach the summer months and our retreat, CPY leadership has been prayerfully considering our policies around Covid-19. In the spirit of ahiṃsā, we are implementing the following practices to ensure the safest possible community for our retreat:
Taking an at-home test when you arrive at the retreat: please bring a few at-home tests to the retreat. We strongly suggest also testing before travel. Please let us know immediately if you have a positive test result.
Using a well-fitting, strong mask when you travel: K95 and KN95 recommended. Please take a look at the domestic and international travel guidelines laid out by the CDC.
If you experience symptoms before/as you come to the retreat—please do not attend. If you experience symptoms at the retreat, please isolate.
Vaccinations are not required, but vaccinations with boosters are strongly recommended (see if your vaccinations are up-to-date on the CDC website).
Mask use will follow CDC guidelines, as impacted by what is happening in Indianapolis and the Benedictine Inn. At present, masks are not required at the Inn.
Even with all of these precautions, we recognize that we cannot guarantee a risk-free environment. It is our own individual responsibility to educate ourselves and make decisions that impact our own bodies. We are all welcome to wear a mask at the retreat whenever – no questions asked.
We will all be coming from various spaces – some of us from our homes, some of us from family reunions, some of us from other travels and events. Some of us are traveling by plane, others by car. We want to be respectful of others by ensuring that we are not asymptomatically contagious.
Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel for any reason, refunds are available as follows:
Between June 27th and July 11th: Full refund (of amount paid) minus processing fees: $100/$590
After July 11th: Full refund minus processing fees and meals: $455
